Avon Fundraiser

For the first time ever Assumption School is offering the opportunity to sell Avon as our Spring Fundraiser (to take the place of our our Spring Dance) . We are very exicted to offer this to our families and hope that you will take advantage so that we may utilize this fundraiser in the future. We welcome friends and family to help out and stop by the office for a brochure! Thank you for your support!

New Department of Catholic Schools Website!

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Department of Catholic Schools (DCS) is proud to launch its new website. The website features photos and bios of elementary and high school students, parents, teachers, principals and pastors. Students and teachers share their stories of Catholic Education. The brand new School Locator allows parents and viewers to search for preschools, elementary schools and high schools throughout the Archdiocese by school name or proximity to their city or zip code. Academic achievements, parent resources and student financial aid opportunities are available for viewing by visiting our new DCS website at www.lacatholicschools.org.

Partners in Education

As partners in educating your children your involvement and support is needed.

We need your help in the following areas:

• Street Crossguards
• Yard Supervisors
• Kitchen Helpers
• Supply Donations: copy paper, carton sealing tape, pens, pencils, white out, white board markers

We also need parents to help do minor repairs and maintenance throughout the school on Fridays.

Enrollment is Still Available

Applications are still being accepted for the new school year. Financial assistance is available, and payment plans are also available. We offer a demanding academic program, afterschool activities, sports and daycare. Do not hinder the educational opportunity of your child because of cost. Give your child and yourself the pride of investing in and benefiting from a Catholic educaiton, an advantage for life. Assumption School Receives WASC Maximum Accreditation

Thanks to all the hard work of our teachers and students, WASC has granted Assumption School 6 years of accreditation. This is a great honor for our school.
